Prof. Mann has long been at the forefront of wind energy research, particularly in the use of remote sensing to enhance wind resource assessment. His work has significantly improved how we model wind in complex terrains and challenging climates\u2014laying a solid foundation for more efficient and sustainable wind farm development worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At Movelaser, we\u2019ve been pushing the boundaries of wind lidar technology through full in-house R&D and large-scale production. One of our key innovations is the Molas 3D lidar system\u2014designed to capture three-dimensional wind vector fields in real time. With its ability to measure both horizontal and vertical components of wind, Molas 3D offers powerful capabilities for turbulence characterization, wake studies, and site optimization, especially in complex onshore or offshore environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
